Washington Square West Civic Association is now a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The details of this change are below:


RESOLUTIONS PROPOSED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

FOR ADOPTION AT A SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

ON JULY 8, 2008


RESOLVED, that the following provisions shall be added to the organization’s Articles of Incorporation to replace and supersede any current provisions with which they conflict:

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future tax code...

1. 1222 Locust Street- Lincoln
- application seeks five (5) variances for the proposed work
- proposed work includes: joining of lots; partial demolition and erection of 6-story building w/
roof decks at 6th story; increase # of dwelling units from 46 to 50.

2. 1013 Pine Street
- applicant seeks approval for one (1) variance
- applicant’s second visit in front of committee. WSWCA Board previously voted to write a letter
of opposition to the proposed conversion of a single family dwelling to a 3-family dwelling based
on unit size; applicant has requested a ZBA continuance and is coming back to WSWCA with
plans for a conversion to a 2-family dwelling
