Wash West Clean-up Funding
Thanks to the generosity of the many Wash West neighbors who have made donations, large and small, the Civic Association (using matching funds from our savings) will be able to provide weekly sidewalk cleaning for most of the summer of 2009. We'd love to be able to stretch that time-line in both directions, particularly into the spring months.

If you haven't yet donated to the sidewalk clean-up fund, please consider doing so now! Every dollar will be matched by the Civic.

The Pavilion at Pennsylvania Hospital
Beginning in April, Pennsylvania Hospital will offer patients a new option in inpatient care. The Pavilion at Pennsylvania Hospital is specially designed for those patients requiring amenities usually found only at deluxe hotels. The Pavilion was developed in response to requests from patients, physicians and members of the community for programs and services such as this. Luxury accommodations and services will be available to most medical/surgical patients—at an additional cost. The staff will strive to meet each patient's personal needs and amenities, however the first priority remains the patient's continued good health.
